Derek A. Michaud specializes in philosophy of religion, the history of philosophy, and philosophical theology. He teaches introductory ethics, religious studies, theology, and general philosophy as well as advanced moral theory, philosophy of religion, philosophical theology, historical theology, and history of philosophy. His research explores the intersection of early modern science, philosophy, and theology in the 17th century Cambridge Platonist John Smith.
